Frequently Asked Questions
What voltage charger does my forklift need?
Match the battery: most electric forklifts run 24 V, 48 V or 80 V systems. The charger must match the battery voltage and be sized to its amp-hour capacity; a mismatched charger shortens battery life or fails to charge fully.
How long does a forklift battery take to charge?
Lead-acid batteries typically need 8 hours to charge plus a cooling period; lithium-ion packs charge in 1 to 2 hours and accept opportunity charging during breaks.
Does heat affect forklift battery charging in the UAE?
Yes. High charging-room temperatures shorten lead-acid life significantly, so charge in a ventilated, shaded area and check electrolyte levels more often through summer.
Can Liftronic supply chargers with rental forklifts?
Yes. Rental electric forklifts come with a matched charger, and standalone chargers are available for owned fleets.
Do you repair forklift chargers?
Yes. Charger fault diagnosis and repair are part of the forklift repair and maintenance service, on site or in the workshop.
